Shame Healing Workshop

Releasing the Stories That Keep You Small

Many of us carry quiet beliefs about ourselves that were formed long before we understood where they came from.

Messages about who we should be, how we should behave, and what parts of ourselves are acceptable or unacceptable can slowly shape the way we move through relationships, intimacy, and even our own sense of self-worth.

Over time, these internalised messages can become something deeper — shame.

Shame often lives quietly beneath the surface. It can show up as self-doubt, emotional withdrawal, difficulty expressing needs, or feeling disconnected from our bodies and desires. For some, it appears as a persistent feeling of not being “enough.” For others, it becomes the voice that discourages vulnerability or authenticity in relationships.

The Shame Healing Workshop is a compassionate space created to help participants explore and gently release these internalised patterns.

Rather than approaching shame as something to fight or suppress, this workshop invites participants to understand it with curiosity and kindness. Through guided reflection, discussion, and gentle embodiment practices, participants will begin to recognise how shame has shaped their emotional experiences and how it can be transformed through awareness and self-compassion.

During this session, we will explore themes such as:

• Understanding how shame develops and where it comes from
• Recognising personal shame triggers and emotional patterns
• Reconnecting with the body as a safe place for emotional expression
• Practicing self-compassion and emotional acceptance
• Reclaiming personal identity beyond limiting narratives

Participants will also be guided through body-based awareness exercises designed to help them reconnect with sensation, emotional presence, and a greater sense of safety within themselves.

These practices are gentle and reflective, allowing each participant to move at their own pace and within their personal comfort level.

This workshop is especially meaningful for individuals who:

• Often feel self-critical or emotionally guarded
• Struggle with vulnerability in relationships
• Feel disconnected from their bodies or desires
• Carry lingering feelings of guilt, embarrassment, or inadequacy
• Want to cultivate greater self-acceptance and emotional freedom

Shame thrives in isolation, but it begins to lose its power when it is met with understanding and compassionate connection.

Within a supportive and respectful group environment, participants are invited to explore their experiences without judgement and begin developing a more accepting relationship with themselves.

At its heart, this workshop is about learning that the parts of ourselves we were taught to hide are often the very places where healing and transformation can begin.
